Hooks of this series are designed for catching exceptionally strong, powerful fish, such as carp, common carp, grass carp, large tench etc. These hooks perfectly hold voluminous baits such as, for example, pearl shellfish meat (in the Volga river lower part and Ahtyba River it calls “mussel”), earthworms, etc. The hooks have an elongated shank with a ring convenient for tying, a round bend, a point slightly bent inward.
